Graphic Arts Rollers to Apply Any Ink
Which rubber material is best for your printing job will depend on the type of ink applied. REDCO can manufacture graphic arts rollers to print conventional ink, UV ink, and hybrid ink.
- Conventional ink is made of evaporative solvents, pigments, and binders. It needs heat to dry. It is most often used with NBR rubber printing rollers.
- UV ink comprises pigments, binders, and a photo initiator and must be exposed to light to cure. It is commonly applied with graphic arts rollers made from EPDM rubber.
- Hybrid ink, as implied by the name, is a hybrid made from multiple inks to produce various effects and characteristics. Many hybrid ink blends are available to produce different effects.
Uses for Printing Rollers & Graphic Arts Rollers
Graphic arts rollers are an excellent addition to any printing operation. They are typically used to print images and graphics for:
- Books
- Magazines
- Letterheads
- Leaflets
- And much, much more!
