History
REDCO first started producing custom rubber products in San Leandro, CA in 1948. Our founder, Herb Watts, had a vision to become "the best" supplier of custom molded rubber products to a quickly emerging variety of product development and manufacturing in the post WWII San Francisco/Bay Area, California.
REDCO has been a complete source for Precision Rubber Covered Rollers, Molded Rubber Products, Extrusions, Die Cut Gaskets, Foam Packaging and Subassembly Components. Made in America since 1948.
REDCO'S ability to serve our customers was developed through the many relationships we had with start-up, high tech companies in this geographic area. The area that eventually became known as the Silicon Valley! As REDCO grew, so did the need for more space and equipment. In 1960 we built a new production facility in Hayward, California. Our ability to serve our customers and our reputation for quality, delivery and service also continued to grow.
The newest chapter of our growth at REDCO began in 1990 when we moved the entire facility to Carson City, Nevada. REDCO had the new 45,000 sq. ft. facility custom built to optimize all of our product lines and the flow of materials throughout the operation.
REDCO'S product lines have grown to include not only custom molded rubber products but also precision rubber covered rollers, rubber extrusions, die cut gaskets, foam packaging and subcomponent assembly.
