Rubber Molding Company REDCO Going Green in 2011

REDCO Rubber Engineering and Development Company is in the planning stages to change all existing lighting to green energy saving bulbs and fixtures in 2011!

At REDCO, we care just as much about or environment as we do saving energy costs. Here are the two main reasons we are making the change: 1) We will save money over the course of the life of the light bulb; 2) Energy efficient light bulbs are kinder to the environment.

We think those are two really good reasons to make the change.

So what's in it for you, our customer?

Well, energy efficient light bulbs cost about $5 more, but save an average of about $30 over the life of the bulb. This means we can allocate more money to rubber engineering research and development! This added research and development will help us continue to develop and deliver high quality rubber products to our customers.

We are also helping out our environment. The main waste product from traditional bulbs is carbon dioxide, which is the biggest contributing factor to global warming. By using energy saving light bulbs, we are doing our part in reducing the overall carbon footprint.

At REDCO, we're excited about this move. Not only to provide greater service to our wonderful customers, but to help the world out a little in the process.
