In-House Compression Molding & Transfer Molding Services
All REDCO’s custom rubber manufacturing is proudly completed in the USA and under one roof. Our custom rubber compression molding and transfer molding facilities include over thirty presses, ranging in size from 8” x 8” to 30” x 40”. Our presses can accommodate high- and low-volume production as well as prototyping. We also maintain a full-service machine shop to manufacture metal shafts and inserts as required.

Compression Molding Services
Compression molding is an efficient process that uses a two-piece mold to create your custom rubber component. The mold is heated and filled with rubber material. Once the rubber has vulcanized, your custom part is removed. This process is a cost-effective choice for producing a variety of rubber parts.
Transfer Molding Services
While similar to compression molding, transfer molding is completed with specially-designed mold plates to create custom rubber components. Compared to compression molding, transfer molding requires less handling but creates more material waste. This manufacturing method improves temperature distribution throughout the rubber to accelerate the manufacturing timeline.
